How to made Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern by used cardboard

MATERIAL PREPARATION:

• Cardboard, bamboo/wooden skewers
• Glue, double-sided tape
• Small LED light or electronic candle (safe for children)
• Tools: Pencil, compass, ruler, scissors, utility knife, decorations

HOW TO DO 

1. Step 1: Create two circular faces. 

• Use a compass and a utility knife to cut out four identical circles from the cardboard, with the suggested size as shown in the illustration (or adjust according to your preference).

 

• Skewer each circle with a bamboo/wooden stick as shown.

 

• Use glue to stick two circles together, overlapping them to create cross spokes.

 

2. Step 2: Shape the lantern

• Use a ruler and a utility knife to cut several equal strips.

 

• Stick double-sided tape onto the base, and carefully attach the strips all the way around the circle.
