KRAFT PAPER ROLLS

1/ About Kraft paper: 

Kraft paper, also known as cardboard, brown packaging paper, oil paper... is a type of paper made from the wood pulp of softwood trees, goes through a process called kraft. This type of paper is recyclable, therefore, it is very environmentally friendly, easy to decompose, and easy to recycle.

Kraft paper has outstanding characteristics: it has high elasticity and tear resistance, and is relatively rough. They can withstand relatively large forces such as pulling, tearing, weight, etc. Therefore, it has high mechanical strength, elasticity, tear resistance and relative waterproofing.

Kraft paper rolls have common sizes with a width of about 1000 mm - 1800mm, length of 7,000 - 8,000m, weight from 120 to 300gsm. 

Paper rolls is a cheap material, suitable used for industrial production, packaging.

Kraft paper’s main colors are brown, yellow and white.

2/ Application of Kraft paper: 

a/ Kraft paper has common and convenient applications in life such as:

•    Make paper bags, handbags, envelopes, file stored bags, etc. 
•    Make wrapping paper, lining.
•    Producing students' books. 
•    Making gift wrapping paper, flower wrapping or goods wrapping
•    Make name cards, clothing tags.

Printing on kraft paper make a natural beautiful, trendy and friendly look. 

b/ Kraft paper rolls are raw materials for the production of corrugated carton, cardboard sheets, and carton boxes, carton packaging products.

• Medium paper has popular weight of 90-200gsm, used as middle layer, corrugated layer in the production of 2-layer, 3-layer, 5-layer, 7-layer carton packaging products.
• Testliner paper has a popular weight of 120-300gsm, has higher smoothness, good break resistance, beautiful printing, used as the surface and outer layer of carton packaging products.

• Kraft paper rolls are also raw materials for producing honeycomb paper boards, pallets carton paper, paper corner protectors, and industrial paper cores.

c/ Wrapping packaging for industrial products, construction

• Cover for easily scratched items (such as circuit boards, household appliances, books, fragile goods, etc). 
• Wrapping for goods transportation: usually use 70gsm to 100gsm paper.
• Gypsum board lining paper: use 150 - 210 gsm paper for plaster ceiling lining paper.
